2nd April Happy List

Since this is the new home for happy I have decided that I am going to kick it up a notch and do two happy lists a month. It will be the 2nd and 4th thursday of the month. Also there can be no repeats in the same month.

April Happiness Part 2

1. New Printer: I bought a printer that in the long run I did not like. So two days ago I got a new printer. Not only is this printer cooler looking and works. It was 10 dollars cheaper than what I was planning on spending. GO FRYS!

2. Launching my blog: www.joyousexpansion.com/blog/ has been launched. Now it is about getting people to read it. I am excited that I am taking positive steps to making my dreams a reality.

3. Keeping commitments to myself: I have started to make 6 commitments to myself a day. When I break the commitments I literally write down that I am breaking the commitment. It is also a mini celebration when I keep them. Today it looks like I will make them all. Hooray!

4. WE having good news: I love good news.

5. Coaching: It is a lot of fun to do. I love helping people reach their dreams

6. Chicken: It tastes so good. I haven't had it yet. KFC has grilled chicken. Those bastards. They know my weakness. New things at KFC. I do like the fact that they tout it as healthy and then they show the commercial with the lunch with the biscuit and mash potatoes and gravy. At least the corn on the cob is dipped in butter.

7. Marvel Movies: Wolverine: Origin comes out next week. EEEEEE

What my Vision means to me

I was thinking the other day. I wrote down a vision and purpose statement. What do they mean to me? Each word has meaning, and yet I haven't wrote them down. So I have decided to do that now.

My Purpose

My purpose is to love deeply and be joy.

I do not feel this one needs much explaination honestly. Loving deeply is who I am. It is what I am here to do. To be someone who fills the world he lives in with joy, that just feels right.

My Vision

I am passionate joy. Allower of love and truth. Powerfully profound warrior and wonderfully magical sage. A lucid player in the playground of life; harmonically balancing the earth and heavens.

I am passionate joy: Joy is my passion. To be passionate joy to me means that my vision everyday is to enjoy my life and find ways to live with more joy. It also means to help bring joy into other people's life.

Allower of love and truth: I am an allower. A person who is in the flow. Truth and love come to me and I allow it to flow through me. Knowledge I need will come to me at the time I need it. The teachers will come when I need it. Abundance comes to me in all due time.

Powerfully profound warrior: I am a man who has great presense. I am a warrior. I will make it happen in a profound way. I am a warrior for peace. I will improve my life in an authentic way.

Wonderfully magical sage: I am also a wise person. I am a wonderful manifester.

A lucid player: Life is a game and I am playing it conciously. This is also my tip of enlightenment.

playground of life: I am here to play to have fun. Life is meant to be enjoyed.

Harmonically balancing earth and heavens: Living a life where I am both spiritual and in the physical realm. Balancing where necessary to create a wonderful orchestra of my life.

Aww that felt good.

Simple little poem

Sometimes I feel inspired to write a poem. They are generally simple and rhyme.

My life

Truth is love, if that is how you want it to be
I am love because that is how I want to be seen
I feel am joy for everything and all earth beings
Love is God, at least according to my praying

One day I was born, didn't know what to do
Back then I knew what was true
Wah, wah, is all I knew what to say
Then experiences made me lose the way

Growing up all I wanted was to be strong
and constantly being told I was wrong
I did my best to be good enough
it was easy to believe the bad stuff

One day feeling my thirties near
Trapped in my prison of fear
That day I finally said no more
I walked out of the prison's door

I see why they this is just a dream
Nothing is as bad as it seems
Having that realism is such relief
All my suffering was caused by belief

Sometimes I wonder how could I miss
That life can be spent in constant bliss
Something so simple is so effective
All it takes is a change in perspective

It all does not matter, it is just an illusion
Believing in my thoughts just causes confusion
Quite the mind and reduce the resistance
Surrender with endless persistence

1st happiness blog of Happy Dupree!

April Happiness

1.) The Work by Byron Katie: Today I went to a study group on the work by Byron Katie. I love that stuff so much. I went there and the person went through the work with another person. I went through it with him where in my life I was thinking the same thoughts. It was beautiful and I felt lighter afterwards. The beauty of Byron Katie is the fact that when we cling onto a thought that causes us stress it brings it plays back to us over and over again like a record. "Bob should pay me more respect." Plays over and over again in our heads. Wait, It is better explained by a program. Just having "Bob should pay me more respect" in the folder of Bob. When the actions of Bob happen, then the program is launched. Using the work makes more programs available and allows us to deal with it in a different way. Or it gives more tracks to play in our record player giving us space and choice to choose a different one.

2.) Intention Circle: I love going to the intention circle. Writing intentions to create a better life with amazing people has just been an amazing experience in my life. I have been going to this circle for nearly a year. I believe I started either at the end of April or the beginning of May. It has been a glorious journey with some amazing people. I love being a positive conscious intender.

3.) Nearly finishing my website: www.joyousexpansion.com. Tell me what you think about it. All suggestions will be taken with glorious gratitude. I am excited.

4.) New thoughts: My world was turned upside down a few weeks ago with the thought that if I believe my products and services help people, then marketing is a way to help people improve their lives. That is a lot better thought than marketing is a way to manipulate people into giving me their money.

5.) Having a business bank account: Just feels like I am actually doing it. It is set up with paypal and everything. I am ready to accept money for my services.

6.) Having a business license: This is a fun one too. I love having my name tradmarked.

7.) Finding something that works: I read this book called Presense Coaching. It has this exercise where while working on something I take breaks every 10 minutes and then refocus. Today while trying it I was able to make good headway on the little e-book I am writing. With a break in 10 minutes I just feel free to continue working because I know I will have a break in 10 minutes. Plus it breaks up those weird times when I am feeling a little stuck. So far I have enjoyed it. I am going to be experiementing with it more.

8.) Kerry's editing ability: My grammar and spelling are not as good as I would like. Having someone amazing like Kerry there to help me has been a god send. She is a gift from God. GO KERRY!!!

9.) Writing my book: That has felt so good when I have gotten down to writing it. It has been an amazing experience. Just writing something that I believe in and is something that is part of me. An amazing idea popped in my head two weeks ago. Why not work in who you are into your coaching? It is such a simple idea. Having people write intentions with my help and guide them through the process is something that I believe in. I believe that stating an intention with feeling and joy is a way to make our lives much better. I do not care if it is just programming our mind or just sending out vibrations into the Universe that is going to return them. It is all good in the hood.

10.) STEAK!!! Holy crap that is good stuff. Ever since I read that too much steak can shorten my lifestyle I have been steak crazy. It is so fucking good. QFC has such good T-bones and they are on sale constantly!

11.) Cream Cheese Bagel with Lox: Why did I never try this before? Holy crap lox is good. I don't really know what it is. It looks and tastes like delicious salmon to me. I wonder how good it tastes if I get it from somewhere other than QFC? I bet it is even better! SO EXCITING! ARGH!!

12.) My long hair: This has been a fun one. I love having long hair. It makes me feel like a professional wrestler sometimes.

13.) Adayshanti: Listening to him speak is awesome. He is the perfect counter balance for Eckhart Tolle. He is speaking from a similar place, however his ego that he wears is one of a guy who used to be a spiritual seeker, while the ego that Eckhart wears is one of a philosopher. So it is just easier for me to be guided by him than it is Tolle.

14.) NFL DRAFT: It is coming. I can sense it. I can feel it. I love the draft!

15.) Growth: I am so thankful for my growth. My ability to connect with people is better than it has ever been. My ability to love myself is greater than it has ever been. My ability to not believe my thoughts is easier than it has ever been. My connection to the source of who I am is deeper than it has ever been. My friendships are more meaningful and greater than they have ever been. It is just hard to not think how amazing life is.

16.) Dicks: Dicks drive in is so freaking good. I love their fries. I love their burgers. I love their shakes. Wow I have lot of food on this one.

17.) Good Beer: Looking forward to sharing some good beer with Kerry tomorrow. She doesn't know it but I bought two bottles of Laughing Buddha for us to share. HOORAY LAUGHING BUDDHA

18.) Sharing my happy list with my facebook friends: Everyone should read about my happiness. BWA HA HA HA HA HA HA

19.) Birthday Parties: Looking forward to party with Tim. GO TIM!

20.) Volunteering agian at the Beer Festival: I look forward to the good times, the free shirt and the free entry to a fun International Beer Festival. I had so much fun last year and being able to do it again is freaking AWESOME!! Way to go Beth with an awesome idea!!

Thinking of kicking it up a notch.

Thinking of doing this every 2nd and every 4th thursday of the month. Going to kick it up a notch. BAMN!!!!

Reason for this blog

I have been writing happy lists for 3 years now. I used to write them on myspace. Well a lot of my friends do not check myspace anymore. I want to share my happiness with everyone! So I am going to post my happy list on this blog and I am going to then link it to facebook. I am going to make one happy list a month. It can also be called a gratitude list or an appreciation list. I have found doing this has been a great thing for my life.
